Gandhi Jayanti Cleanliness Drive
To commemorate Gandhi Jayanti, a cleanliness drive was organized at our school on October 1, 2024, a day before the official celebration. The initiative was a fitting tribute to Mahatma Gandhi’s vision of a cleaner and more sustainable India. Known for his emphasis on cleanliness as a part of national well being, Gandhi’s ideals were brought to life through this drive, which aimed to promote environmental consciousness among students and faculty.
NCC students took the lead in cleaning the school campus and surrounding areas during the cleanliness drive. They worked together to sweep the school grounds, collect litter, and clean the classrooms and corridors. Additionally, they extended their efforts to the areas near the school, ensuring the entire environment was clean and well-maintained. Their active participation and leadership played a crucial role in the success of the drive.

A Saint of Little Things
A special assembly was organized at our school on 1 October, 2024 to celebrate the feast of St. Therese of Child Jesus. The event was a beautiful reflection of her life and teachings. A student from the LKG class, dressed as St. Therese, stole the spotlight as she gracefully portrayed the saint. Her costume and presentation captured the essence of St. Teresa’s simplicity and dedication to serving others.
Our Principal, Rev. Sr. Sheeba Joseph, led the assembly with a heartfelt prayer for the school, its staff, and students. She prayed for guidance and strength to carry out our duties with love and compassion, just as St. Therese did. In her inspiring message, she encouraged everyone to follow St. Therese’s example of doing ordinary things in an extraordinary way. Rev. Sr. Sheeba reminded us that acts of kindness, no matter how small, can have a profound impact when done with love and devotion.
The assembly was a beautiful reminder of the importance of humility, love, and service in our daily lives. St. Therese’s legacy continues to inspire and guide us towards making the world a better place, one simple act at a time.
