Brain Cognition: Real Career Counselling

On 1 October 2024, Little Flower School had the privilege of hosting a seminar titled Brain Cognition: Real Career Counselling, conducted by Mr. Rahul Bharadwaj, Deputy Manager for Outreach and Public Relations at Assam Down Town University. Mr. Bharadwaj is a renowned speaker who has delivered similar seminars to the Army, Air Force, and CRPF and so on.

In the seminar, he discussed career decision making, how brain cognition and habits matter in that process. Brain Coordination one of the key sub topics wherein Mr. Bhardwaj explained how the brain processes information and its impact on career choice. He talked about how knowing brain patterns allow people to use logic and analysis to make better decisions based on facts, versus assumptions.

Mr Bhardwaj added that Human Habits play a large role in career development and that our daily routines and behaviour patterns are certainly contributing to success in our careers. The need for Physical Activity to keep cognitive health intact was also something that was covered. Mr. Bhardwaj illustrated how physical activity helps people thrive in analytical abilities, and in solving problems both in school and in the workplace, by using real life examples.

The seminar was interactive and students really got a new view about how Personal Habits and Brain Function can determine their future. We gained good insights on how to make fitting and conscious decisions through our careers.
